Pupil Premium Statement
The pupil premium is a stream of funding allocated to schools and is based on
the number of children eligible for free schools at any point in the last six years.
It is for the school to decide how the Pupil Premium is spent. This is reviewed at the beginning of each academic year.
In 2015/16 we were allocated £13,500 which we used to:
1. To help support families with funding towards school trips, residentials and extra curricular opportunities
2. To help fund additional learning support
3. To help fund the services of a parent support worker
For 2016/17 we have been allocated £6,600 which we also plan to use on the above.
This will raise standards by enhancing the curriculum for our children and through timely interventions to support teaching and learning and promote progress.
